Montreal and the Team at Peterseine’s Place,

I hope this letter finds you well. On behalf of our district’s teen pregnancy and

parenting program, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the incredible

support that Peterseine’s Place has provided over the past year.

Your assistance in some of our more delicate situations has

been invaluable. From financial support and supplies to volunteering your

time, your contributions have significantly impacted the lives of our

young parents. We are especially grateful for your presence at our Teen Mom

Nights, and for helping make the holiday season brighter by contributing

Christmas gifts to the families in our program.

The kindness and generosity of Peterseine’s Place have helped create a more

supportive and caring environment for our teen parents, and for that, we are

truly grateful. Your ongoing partnership means the world to us, and we look

forward to continuing to work together to support these young families.

Thank you again for everything you do.

Warm regards,

Jamie Rufo, M.Ed, LPC-A

What an honor to be associated with Montreal Peterson and Peterseine's Place 19:23. Upon meeting Montreal, it was an immediate connection. I knew instantly how enthusiastic, passionate, and committed Montreal is to helping young teen mothers.

For many years in LCISD, I oversaw our school district's teen mom and dad program. One day, I related to Montreal through our district's community partners' program. I must admit that I am very protective of the teen moms and dads I serve and want to protect their confidentiality and respect their privacy. So, when I hear of an organization wanting to help my students, I must make sure that it will be a trusted relationship. Right away I knew that Montreal was genuine and someone I could trust. She wanted the same thing, to keep the students' confidentiality and respect their privacy.

For the first couple of years, I worked with Montreal, she helped students with many things. From diapers, formula, strollers, swings, and everything in between. And she was prompt. Her organization has a warehouse where they keep their teen mom and baby items, and she would never delay getting me the students' needs. One year, her organization helped financially for a teen mom who was short on her daycare funds. This financial blessing allowed the girl's daycare balance to be cleared so that the student could get the care she needed for her son and have her weight lifted off because she did not know how she would go to school without daycare.

This summer she held a beautiful fund-raiser and honored teen moms, telling her personal story of being a teen mother. Donations poured in and she blessed our district's teen moms with so many items for their babies. It was a very generous gift and blessing.

This school year I no longer oversee our district's parenting program, but I collaborate closely with the new person in the role. I have witnessed an outpouring of love and support that Peterseine's Place 19:23 is showing our teen moms and babies. There have been some exceedingly difficult student situations and Peterseine's Place 19:23 has swept in like angels to support and provide.

I am better meeting Montreal Peterson and she and her organization are having an incredibly positive impact on teen moms and their babies. I am proud to say I am associated with Montreal and her mission.

Sincerely,
